Polyurethane tension screens are used on appropriately designed screening machines. With these tension screens, it is usually possible to reconfigure screening machines from wire screens to polyurethane screens without rebuilding them.
Our polyurethane flexible tensioned screens are designed to give the highest screening performance together with enviable wear resistance.
Tensioned Polyurethane Screens are used in construction and cement industries as well as for separating mines and ores such as coal, chromium and copper. Today, in many large and small scale facilities, tensioned polyurethane screens are preferred because of the reduction in labor time and the ability to obtain the desired product from the same screen for a long time.
During the assembly of the Polyurethane Tensioned Screens, a polyurethane cord is passed over the pressing iron plates on the screen frame. Thus, the screens are prevented from being cut and damaged suddenly from the bottom due to vibration. Polyurethane wicks are a kind of outfit of the screen frame pressing iron plate and extend the wear life. The blades or profile wedges used in the assembly of the module screens are coated with polyurethane to increase the wear time and prevent rusting.
